A small shop for element samples and rare metals
Periodic Tech is a small independent shop. We source element samples and rare metals and resell them in small, clearly described quantities. Every order is weighed and heat-sealed before it ships.
What we do
We sell samples of chemical elements and some harder-to-find metals, mostly in small quantities meant for display or study. We are resellers, not producers. If a listing leaves you with a question, email support@periodictech.com and ask before you order.
Where it comes from
We buy from outside suppliers, and several of the metals in the catalog come from Kazakhstan. Listings state the origin and purity as our suppliers give them to us.
Weighed and sealed
Each order is weighed before packing, then heat-sealed in a bag that keeps moisture out during shipping and storage.
Specimens, not supplies
Our items are sold as specimens. Nothing in the catalog is intended for consumption, and some metals call for sensible handling. Ask us if you are unsure.

The shop
Periodic Tech is run from Kentucky. It is a small operation, not a lab or a factory. We find element samples and rare metals worth stocking and describe them as plainly as we can. Orders are packed by hand.
We do not refine or manufacture anything ourselves. The metals come from outside suppliers, and a number of items in the catalog originate in Kazakhstan. Where a supplier provides purity or origin details, we pass them along in the listing as received.
We would rather understate than oversell. If a listing does not tell you what you need to know, email support@periodictech.com before you buy and we will give you a straight answer.

Samples are heat-sealed in a bag to keep air and moisture out, both in transit and on your shelf.
