1. Who we are

Periodic Tech is a small online shop operated by Periodic Technology LLC. We sell samples of chemical elements and rare metals. You can reach us at support@periodictech.com or by mail at [[OWNER: confirm business mailing address]]. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Using the site

You may browse and order for your own lawful use. Do not misuse the site, attempt to break or probe it, or interfere with other people using it. If you create an account, give us a working email address, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.

We may refuse or cancel an order, or close an account, if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent or abusive. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it.

3. Products are specimens

Everything we sell is sold as a specimen for display, study, or collection. Nothing in the catalog is sold for consumption, and nothing is sold as food, medicine, a supplement, a cosmetic, or an ingredient for any of those. Do not eat, drink, burn, or otherwise apply our products to the body.

Some metals require care in handling and storage. You are responsible for handling your purchase safely, keeping it away from children and pets, and following the laws that apply where you live, including any rules on owning or importing metals. If you are not sure how to store or handle an item, email us before you order.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and can change at any time before you place an order. Placing an order is an offer to buy. The sale is complete when we accept the order and take payment. If a listing contains an obvious pricing or description error, or an item turns out to be unavailable, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full.

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout page. We do not see or store your full card number. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay, and we send an order confirmation by email.

5. Shipping and returns

6. Product descriptions

We describe items as accurately as we can. Details such as purity and origin are stated as our suppliers provide them to us. Photos show representative samples, and natural materials vary, so the piece you receive may differ slightly in shape or appearance from the photo. Stated weights are checked when we pack your order.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage caused by misuse of a product, including any use contrary to section 3.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to change.

8. Governing law
